In Far Cry 5, a rifle wears the American flag from handguard to stock. A gold pistol carries an eagle above crossed flags. A stunt pilot’s floatplane takes the same colors onto the water.

Ubisoft’s 2018 game is set in Hope County, Montana, where a deputy fights the Project at Eden’s Gate cult. Away from that story, the weapon shop, garage and wardrobe offer a collection of American flag designs: some loud enough for a parade, others reduced to a small sleeve patch.

Our favorites belong to Clutch Nixon, the game’s fictional stuntman. His Uncle Sam muscle car, Stars & Stripes floatplane and Overdrive clothes repeat the colors across different shapes. The plane is our pick: even its floats carry the pattern.

A bald eagle spreads its wings above American flags on the gold slide. Dark grips contrast with the gold finish.

The blue end of this bat carries white stars; red-and-white stripes run down its length. The joke turns gruesome at the striking end, where teeth are embedded in the wood.

American aviation markings

These finishes borrow the star-and-bar aircraft marking: a star with horizontal bars on either side. Shark teeth provide the nose art.

Shark teeth surround the muzzle, while a white star-and-bar marking sits on the grip. Olive paint and the number 51 complete the aircraft-inspired finish.

Sharkbite uses a blue fore-end and pale stock, with shark-mouth paint around the receiver and an American-style star-and-bar marking on the magazine.

How we chose the designs

This illustrated selection covers U.S. flag graphics, bald-eagle-and-flag artwork and American-style military aircraft markings. A flag patch qualifies; ordinary camouflage, a fictional faction emblem or an American-looking vehicle alone does not.

We count a named finish or outfit once. An armed and unarmed version of the same vehicle paint does not become two designs. Individual clothing items are identified as such.

Names and artwork are checked against original game screenshots and publisher images. Some came from paid packs or historical live events. This is an archive of the designs, with no promise that every item is obtainable on every account or platform today.

We are judging the artwork, rather than the real weapon’s country of origin.
